Chapter 139 To Feign a Faint
As Benson's gaze turned to her, Sophie quickly shook her head. "Yes, | was wrong. | decided to do all this. It has
nothing to do with Sierra."
Her moist eyes were filled with unease as if she had been threatened.
He turned back at Sierra. "I know you don't like Sophie. I've already made her leave the company to work
elsewhere. Are you satisfied now? Stop targeting and bullying her."
Targeting? Bullying?
A sarcastic smile appeared on Sierra's beautiful face, though her eyes showed no trace of amusement.
In the end, he still believed Sophie's words.
"Sierra, I'm leaving the company today, so please cback. Don't be mad at Benson anymore. He really likes
you, and | would never want to hurt your relationship."
Sophie spoke in a pitiful tone, gently biting her lip. Her slightly trembling voice carried a hint of vulnerability and
helplessness. Tears welled up in her eyes.

Seeing her delicate and pitiful state, Benson's eyes showed traces of sympathy.
"What a great performance! | think you're more suited for the entertainment industry. Would you liketo
introduce you to sdirectors? | happen to know a few."
Sierra clapped her hands as she stood up, smiling at Sophie.
Benson's expression darkened as he spoke in a low, serious tone. "Cee, you're being unreasonable. This has
nothing to do with Sophie. She's gone out of her way to help us reconcile, making many efforts and
compromises. She sincerely hopes that we can make up. Can you please stop misunderstanding her?"
"Benson, are you blind? Go get your eyes checked."
"Cee!"
His voice rose, a clear sign of his dissatisfaction.
"Don't call my nso intimately. | cto tell you to stop sending gifts to my school. It's making my life
miserable. If you continue to harass me, I'll have no choice but to call the police."
Her voice was ice-cold. It was as if her heart had long been frozen, incapable of feeling the slightest warmth.
Benson's face turned extremely grim.
Seeing Sierra about to leave, he reached out and grabbed her wrist.
"Sierra, how can you be so cruel?"
Sierra glanced at his other hand supporting Sophie and let out a soft chuckle. Then, without mercy, she pushed it
away.
"I'm not interested in a guy who plays the field. And | don't take back what I've let
go."
Benson's expression changed, a hint of panic flashing in his eyes. He immediately withdrew his hand from
Sophie.
Sierra had turned away from him and was preparing to leave. She'd taken a few steps when she paused as if
remembering something and looked back at Sophie. "Oh, by the way Sophie, | forgot to tell
you there are surveillance cameras in the office."
Sophie turned her head and, sure enough, spotted a camera in the corner of the office ceiling. So, everything she
had said to Sierra had been recorded.
At this thought, Sophie suddenly felt unsteady on her feet.

Sierra didn't spare another glance at Sophie's suddenly pale face and walked away.
"Surveillance? Sophie, what did Cee mean by that?" he asked, confused. But when he turned to her, he saw her
swaying before she collapsed.
He quickly caught her.
"Sophie! Sophie!"
He called her nseveral times, but there was no response.
He becanxious and hurriedly called Reagan to drive them to the hospital. All the doubts and
