"Call security? Do you think they can get here faster than I can grab you? Karina, you can't escape me. You belong to me." His voice, low and sinister, sent chills down Karina's spine. Goosebumps covered her arms as she struggled desperately. Summoning her courage, she drove her knee sharply into Kieran's groin. He gasped in pain, his grip loosening just enough.
Karina seized the moment to break free and bolted toward the nurses' station, where she knew her colleagues would be-and where she could call for security.
But Kieran, drunk and enraged, refused to let her go. Gritting his teeth against the pain, he took long, unsteady strides and caught up to her.

"Illegal? I don't care. Karina, I've beclike this because of you, and now you want to abandon me? Do you think I'll let you go that easily?" He advanced toward her, step by menacing step.
