Rosalie grew more shaken the more she listened.
"That's why I think you're right not to trust Theodore," Justin went on. "He rushed to defend another woman. How can he have the audacity to say he loves you? If someone truly loves you, they'll stand by your side no matter what. Whether you're right or wrong, they'll hold you in their arms and comfort you first. And in this case, you weren't even at fault. You were the victim." Rosalie felt a lump in her throat. She rubbed her nose forcefully and said, "I didn't think you'd notice all of this." "I didn't expect it either," Justin said, pursing his lips. "At the time, I felt completely numb. It's as if all my emotions had been stripped away, leavingutterly calm. But when I saw Theodore mistreating you, I felt a surge of anger. I wanted to lunge at him and beat him up, but it was like I was just air. He couldn't see me, and I couldn't do anything. I could only watch helplessly as you fell to the ground crying." Justin's voice was filled with guilt.

She hadn't expected that Justin had been aware of her grievances even while lying in the intensive care unit. He could tell it wasn't her fault, but Theodore didn't even ask for her side of the story and immediately blamed her for hitting Aurora.
Theodore hadn't changed. He was still the sold Theodore. Even if he claimed to love her, he would still defend other women. Between her and Theodore, there would always be other women. This was fate.
"Why are you thanking me?" Justin asked.
"Because at least you believed that it wasn't my fault. At least someone in this world knows the truth." Rosalie no longer felt like she was the only one who knew.
"Rosalie, don't let yourself be wronged any longer. If being with a man makes you uncomfortable, you must stay away from him, no matter how good or bad he is to you." When Justin mentioned "good" and "bad," Rosalie couldn't help but think of Theodore and Sebastian.
Theodore had hurt her deeply, but Sebastian treated her with such devotion. Yet, for sreason, she didn't feel entirely at ease with either man.

Although she knew it might just be her overthinking, Sebastian was so good to her. What more could she possibly want? Content belongs to en.kikistoriesStill, Sebastian's kindness sometimes felt almost too good to be true.
As Rosalie mulled it over, she concluded that she was overthinking. Nothing seemed to please her-good or bad. Perhaps she was simply too difficult to satisfy.
Seeing the conflicted expression on Rosalie's face, Justin seemed to guess what was on her mind.
"Rosalie," he said, "trust your intuition." Hearing the words "intuition," Rosalie fell into silence. Should she trust her intuition? Sometimes, she couldn't trust herself entirely either. She' always worried about others feelings. Content belongs to en.kikistories"You're supposed to be going to classes, right?" he asked. "I overheard you and Sebastian talking at the door." Rosalie nodded. "Yes. I'm here as part of a graduate exchange program, but I've taken a leave of absence." "Cancel your leave. Go back to class tomorrow." Rosalie hesitated. "But..."
