Chapter 126 Feeding Meds Rosaline's POV: I returned to my desk, and without wasting a moment, I sent a reminder to the person in charge of the Rivemon jewelry factory to sendthe test results.

Half an hour later, they arrived.

As I had expected, the Ice and Fire jewelry produced at headquarters was flawless.

A quiet sigh of relief escaped me. The issue appeared to be contained solely in Fostrau.

I quickly gathered the necessary documents and made my way to Caden's office.

The press conference was just hours away, and the information in my hands was critical to clearing up the mess.

As I reached the door, I noticed Donny walking out. His face was a mask of frustration, his mood clearly foul. "Mr. Lowe," I greeted him with a forced smile.

He shota cold, humorless glance, his lips curving into a tight, almost sarcastic smile before he briskly walked past me.

I knocked softly on Caden's door. "Can I cin?" "Yes," Caden's voice called from inside.

I entered and found him gazing intently at the bottle of cold medicine I had given him earlier. His eyes were fixed on it, his lips curving into a subtle, almost playful smile.

"What are you doing, staring at a bottle of medicine?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Caden set the bottle down gently at the sound of my voice. "Rosaline, I was just about to look for you." I handed him the folder. "The test results are in. The 'Ice and Fire' jewelry from headquarters is fine. Looks like the problem is just with Fostrau." He took the papers but barely skimmed through them before setting them aside on the desk.

I frowned. This was an important moment-the press conference was looming, and these results were vital. Yet, Caden barely seemed to acknowledge them.

"Aren't you going to take a look? These are critical for the press conference," I said, my voiceged with urgency.

"I know," Caden replied with a light chuckle. "But there's something even more important." I blinked, puzzled. "What could be more important than this?" He pointed to the bottle of medicine on the desk, his smile widening just a little. "Feedthe medicine." My mind was flooded with questions.

Chapter 126 Feeding Meds Did he know what was going to happen? And yet this man was still worried about such small things! Caden smirked, a playful glint in his eyes. "You wouldn't be cruel enough to makego to the conference while I'm sick, would you?" I rolled my eyes. "You're not bitingagain, got it?* press 98% Finished He nodded in agreement, so I reached for the bottle of medicine. I twisted off the cap, poured two pills, and handed them to him.

The pills must've tasted bitter, because Caden's brows furrowed, and he pressed his lips together. "Water," he muttered.

"There's water in your cup," I said, giving him a warning look.

"Feed me," he said, as though it were the most normal request in the world.

I didn't even know what to say.

Okay, fine. If I was going to help, I might as well finish it.

I grabbed his cup, filled it with water, and brought it to his lips. “Here. Drink." But Caden leaned back and locked eyes with me, his gaze intense. "Test the temperature for me." I blinked, speechless. What was I supposed to do with that? With a resigned sigh, I took a small sip. The water was perfect.

But then I realized-this was Caden's cup, and now I'd drunk from it too. Was this an indirect kiss? A warmth spread across my face, and I quickly inhaled, trying to shake off the absurd thought.

"Okay, it's fine. Drink,” I said, handing the cup back to him.

Caden didn't move. He just kept staring at me.

"What's your problem?" I asked, feeling uncomfortable under his unwavering gaze.

Caden's lips twitched into a grin. "Rosaline, why are you blushing?" I felt my face heat up. Was it really that obvious? How could he even tell? Embarrassed, I bit my lip. "I'm not." Caden raised an eyebrow. "Not? You should look in the mirror." A little annoyed, I shoved the cup closer to him. "Caden, are you going to drink or not?"

When he saw I was genuinely upset, he stopped teasing and reached for the cup That's when a woman's voice suddenly cut through the air. "Rosaline, what are you doing?" I jumped, my hand trembling. The water almost spilled over Caden.

Chapter 126 Feeding Meds I turned and saw Wendy standing in the doorway, her eyes filled with jealousy.

Finished

At the sight of Wendy, memories of Caden dancing with her flashed in my mind. I huffed, slamming the cup onto the table. "I'm out of here." "Don't go," Caden said, his voice low and firm.

I didn't want to stick around any ve longer. As I tried to walk away, Caden's hand suddenly wrapped around my waist. The grip wasn't too hard, but it was enough to makestumble. Before I knew it, I fell right into him. 206 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLliIofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1
