Chapter 274 Chapter 274 "Dr. Mason, Mrs. Isolde Grant is ready," Luna said as she stepped out. She had initially planned to fetch Leah from the neighboring villa. Upon seeing her already at the door, Luna urged her to hurry inside.
"Alright, Mrs. Isolde Grant is waiting for me. She hasn't been sleeping well these past few nights. I'll start with her therapy." Leah nodded gently. Every movement she made carried the grace unique to an elegant woman.
There was no trace of the feelings she once harbored for Ellison.
Joycelyn pressed her lips together and responded, "Alright, go ahead. We'll check in on her later." As Leah walked into the villa with her medical kit, Joycelyn couldn't help but observe her. It had been stsince they last met. After Leah's marriage, she seemed even more composed than before.
Joycelyn noticed a change in her eyes.
Previously, whenever Leah was around Ellison, she couldn't completely hide the admiration in her gaze.
But just now, it was merely a fleeting glance, nothing more.
Joycelyn turned her head, her clear, gentle eyes landing softly on Ellison.
Her gaze was like a still lake, tranquil yet warm, carrying the tenderness of a spring breeze. But when she narrowed her eyes just slightly, there was a playful cunningness.
Ellison's face remained expressionless. In fact, when he wasn't speaking, his cold demeanor gave him the air of an unapproachable ruler.
Unfortunately, he was too handsome. Even when looking stern, he was still attractive.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Why are you looking atlike that?" Ellison looked at Joycelyn's soft face.
The way she was staring at him felt a little off, though he couldn't quite put his finger on why.
"Because you're too handsome. From now on, you should wear a mask when you go out. You can only take it off at home. Only I get to look at you," Joycelyn teased, laughing sweetly.
Ellison's eyes held a hint of amusement. That was something he liked to hear.
He asked, "Oh? So, I only have a good-looking face? Nothing else?" "Other parts..." Joycelyn blinked, her clear eyes studying his face before slowly trailing downward.
"Your other parts are pretty good-looking too." She tried to be subtle, but her gaze still flickered briefly over his tailored dress pants before she quickly looked away. She did not dare to look any lower.
Spending too much taround Ellison was making her just as shameless as him.
Realizing what she had just said, Joycelyn immediately turned and walked toward the villa.
Her head lowered slightly, and her face was slightly red. She had embarrassed herself.
"How exactly do they look good? Why don't you elaborate? I've got time." Ellison's voice was deep, teasing, as he closed the distance between them and lowered his head to whisper in her ear.
Joycelyn's casual stride turned into a hurried power walk. Her small, quick steps made her look like a little penguin. She was utterly adorable.
1/3 09:04 Wed, 12 Mar Chapter 274 She had wanted to tease Ellison. But now the tables had turned, and she was the one being teased instead! Thankfully, no one else was around. Otherwise, she'd be digging a hole to hide in.
"I'm going to check on Isolde!" she blurted, making a swift escape into the villa.
In the side hall, a decorative screen stood in place. Isolde lay on a reclining couch, while Leah took a wooden basin of medicinal soup from Luna's hands.
Leah spoke softly as she massaged Isolde's head, her tone gentle and reassuring. "Mrs. Grant, I heard you haven't been sleeping well these past few nights.
"Whenever you have headaches or discomfort, you should soak your hands in this medicinal soup and massage a little afterward." She added, "I'll teach Mrs. Morrison ssimple techniques in a bit. That way, if my brother isn't available to cover, you can still feel srelief." Isolde said, "Alright. But I have to say, your technique and pressure are the most comfortable. Your fingers are soft yet firm, and even a casual massage from you is soothing." "That's true. As long as a woman controls the pressure properly, the effects will be much better," Leah responded, glancing up and noticing a shadow behind the folding screen.
She asked, "Mrs. Joycelyn Grant, why don't you learn as well? That way, if my brother and I aren't around, you can help massage Mrs. Isolde Grant too." "Sure! Is it complicated? Do I need to memorize the spots?" Joycelyn rolled up her sleeves and walked over. Over the past few days, she had overheard Luna mention that Isolde struggled to sleep at night. Not wanting to worry them, Isolde endured it silently.
If learning this could help alleviate Isolde's discomfort, Joycelyn was more than willing to give it a try.
Leah said, “Just wait a moment. Letmassage her for ten minutes, and you can watch. Then I'll teach you." Joycelyn replied, "Okay." "Joycelyn, you're already so busy with your studies. Let Luna handle it. Or maybe even Sandra," Isolde said with a yawn.
It was clear she was starting to get drowsy.
"It's fine. The more people who can do it, the better. I'll learn from Luna. As for Sandra... with her strength, would you really dare let her do it? Even Ellison wouldn't let her touch him," Joycelyn joked.
Sandra was strong like an ox. They couldn't trust her with a delicate massage.
As Leah continued massaging, she quietly explained the finger techniques to Joycelyn and Luna. Within minutes, Isolde had fallen asleep.
After a few more minutes of massage, Leah stood up and gestured for Joycelyn to give it a try.

Leah said, "You'll need to remove your rings. If you apply pressure with OV them on, you might accidentally hurt her. When massaging, you can't wear any rings, and your nails shouldn't be too long either." Joycelyn glanced at Leah's hands. She had already taken off her two rings.
2/3 12 Mar Chapter 274 Looking at her own hand, Joycelyn didn't have long nails, but she always wore her ring. For Isolde's sake, she removed is "Lethold it for you," Leah offered, reaching out her hand.
Joycelyn figured it was just going to be placed nearby and handed her the ring without much thought.
Leah made sure to set the ring down on a wooden tray beside the cabinet, deliberately keeping it separate from hers.
"Mrs. Morrison, I'm feeling a little thirsty. Could you poura glass of water? Or just tellwhere, and I'll Rr. get it myself, Leah asked, sounding slightly embarrassed. "I'll get it for you." Luna immediately went to fetch swater, Meanwhile, Joycelyn continued gently massaging Isolde. “You can apply a little more pressure. I'll be more effective that way," Leah suggested.
"Alright." Joycelyn focused on her technique, her delicate fingers following Leah's instructions. The results were quite good. Isolde remained deeply asleep.
A moment later, Luna returned, handing Leah a glass of water.
"Thank you," Leah said, drinking before placing the cup on the wooden cabbehind her. While Joycelyn and Luna were distracted, Leah swiftly swapped two identical rings.
The one she placed in Joycelyn's spot had been pre-treated with herbal powder that caused infertility. As long as Joycelyn continued using medicinal therapy on Isolde, the conflicting properties of the herbs would slowly take effect. Over time, Joycelyn would never be able to conceive.
