Chapter 4:.

The next day, in a coffee shop...

Stella had already organized all the documents and had asked the RK Group's director of negotiations to meet

her in the cafeteria.

While she was waiting, a man in a black suit and gold-rimmed glasses approached. But when he approached and

saw Stella, he made a shocked face.

Stella also looked at the person in front of her and was also surprised. Because the one in front of her was RK's

assistant, Alex Tristan.

For a moment, they were both silent. It was Stella who took the initiative and said, “Long tno see.”

Alex listened to her words and quickly regained his composure. He nodded and sat down. Stella didn’t waste

high.”

“Okay, but we can’t sign this contract,” she said, gathering her things and deciding to leave.

Alex saw that she was about to leave and that she wasn’t interested in this deal, and he panicked. He ran to her

and stopped her. “Miss Richard, hold on, please. Letcall and ask again for the price.”

Stella paused and nodded, “Of course.”

Alex stepped aside and made a call.

In the office of the General Director of the RK Group...

RK was sitting in the main chair, listening to a report from the marketing department, when his phone rang. RK

looked at the phone and hung up. He didn’t like to be disturbed at work.

But after a few seconds, it rang again.

The people in the office saw his cold expression and shivered. They had the feeling that the person on the other

end was about to die. RK’s face did not look good, and the people reporting to him felt a shiver down their backs.

RK picked up the phone and asked, “What's wrong?” His voice was cold.

Alex reported the situation to the other side.

“Tell them it’s not going to happen. 70 million is too much; they're not worth it.” By the the finished

speaking, he was about to hang up.

But Alex said something that made him pause for a moment. His fingers tapped the table and, after a minute, he

replied, “Okay, then let's agree on 70 million.”

Then he paused and added, “Tell him to cto the company and explain topersonally why he is worth 70

million.” After speaking, he hung up the phone.

In her deep blue eyes were unfamiliar emotions. The people in the marketing department heard her words and

were surprised.

“The CEO is going to personally sign the contract.”

“Is that negotiation really worth his visit?” Besides, they knew that in this negotiation, Kingston did not need to

be personally involved. They all had question marks on their faces.

Alex was not too far away, so Stella could hear parts of their conversation. She heard Alex communicate her

ndirectly to the person on the other end of the phone.

“Ms. Richard, wait! Mr. Kingston said they have no problem with your price. The agreement should be set up

according to your company’s plan. Let's quickly sign the agreement so that no one can back out.”

When he finished speaking, he pulled out the documents, signed his nand handed the pen to Stella. Seeing

his arrogant attitude, as if he had already bought her company, Stella was a little taken aback. She stared at the

pen in a daze.

She had not expected the agreement between the two companies to be so smooth and easy. Stella felt she had

made her position clear by not lowering the price and standing firm in her decision.

But who would have thought that RK would be even more determined than she was to acquire the company? She

even agreed to sign the contract at her price.

Alex returned the documents to their place, shook her hand and said, “Miss Richard, from now on we are

colleagues in the scompany. Please take care of us in the future.”

Stella merely gave him a forced smile. Only she and God knew how much she didn’t want that man to be her

boss.

Alex looked at her and added, “Miss Richard, please hurry back to the company. Mr. Kingston will be there in a

little while. He says he wantsto explain personally how his company is worth 70 million.”

He also didn’t know why his boss wanted Miss Richard to do it personally, after what had happened before

between them. But as an assistant, she could only do what she was told to do.

Back to the company...

Stella was sitting in the car, but her mind was filled with thoughts of how RK would soon becher boss.

“Ahhh! Stella, you're the best. You just signed the contract as soon as you showed up!”

The one who spoke was the assistant manager of the company. “Stella, you don’t know this, but before you

came, Mr. Paul sent a lot of people to negotiate with Mr. Kingston, but he just kept lowering the price.”

He hugged Stella and said happily, “Stella, you are our lucky star.”

Stella just lowered her head and didn’t speak because it wasn’t what she wanted.

Lily continued, “Stella, you just got back, so you probably don’t know much about the city, do you?”.

“I heard he used to have a fiancée, but he left her six years ago,” Lily said.

“Didn’t he marry his sister?”

Stella couldn’t believe they weren't married yet.

Hadn't he given her a divorce because he wanted to marry her sister? She thought they should be married by

now, have children and live happily together.
