Chapter 411 Angela was annoyed to see Dexter again. "What are you doing here?" She didn't even want to look at him, let alone deal with him. All she wanted was to get away from him, as far away as possible.
"Dexter, what brings you here? Looking for something? Would you like to buy a couple of necklaces? I've got sreally nice bracelets too." Zack seized the chance to make a sale.
Dexter turned to Angela. "Let's head back and eat-" "You can go back by yourself. It's still early. I have things to do." Angela cut him off sharply, her voice laced with impatience.
She refused to be controlled like this all the time. She wasn't someone who needed to be told what to do.

"What does it have to do with you? It's none of your business." Angela snapped, finally reaching her limit. Their eyes met, and for a brief moment, she clearly saw the shock in Dexter's gaze. It was as if he hadn't anticipated her losing her temper at this moment.
Zack was equally stunned. He looked at them, unsure of what to do. Angela felt off. Something wasn't right with her.
After a brief silence, she muttered, "I'm sorry. I'm just feeling a little on edge. I'l stay here for a bit. You should head back first." Dexter turned and walked away, his steps slow and heavy as if he were weighed down by something. Watching him go, Angela felt an unexpected pang of heartache.
It was their first official day as a couple, and she'd already hurt him. She felt suffocated by his closeness. "Angie, I've never seen him like that before. You're seriously bold." Zack praised. Angela remained silent. Zack continued, "I think you should try seeing things from his perspective: To him, you're someone he lost and finally got back, so course he feels the need to Onerish you, take care of you, and make it up to you.
"But if you really can't handle this, why not just tell him directly? It'll save you both from the frustration." She smiled, realizing he had a point.
That night, when she got home, Dexter still wasn't back. Mustering up her courage, she called him.
Yet, he didn't pick up. A moment later, he texted her, saying he was in a meeting.
In fact, Dexter was already in the underground parking lot. He was lost in thought, reflecting on everything.
A few minutes later, Angela sent him a text. "You don't have to go out of your way to take care of me." It was simple and straightforward.
Dexter let out a bitter smile, staring at his phone screen for a long time. He recognized that his anxiety and fear of losing her were overwhelming.

Early in the morning, Angela headed to Emerelda Jewelries on the m outskirts of Eldmere. She hadn't seen Dexter before her departure. She wasn't sure if he was upset. She felt she'd made herself perfectly clear. He was intelligent-there was no way he didn't understand what she meant.
Felix walked into Angela's temporary office, casually holding a cup of coffee as he half-jokingly offered his advice.
"Angela, you have to remember, you're just a shareholder. Sure, you own a bigger stake, but that doesn't mean you can show up every day. and disrupt our operations. If the company loses money, that wouldn't be good for you either, right?"
Angela was flipping through the personnel transfer records sent over by HR. Though she was already fuming, not a trace of emotion showed on her face.
"If I didn't come, the company would basically be at your mercy. It's only been a few days, and you've already planted so many of your lackeys in the Hand design departments. If you were at least hiring capable ones, that'd be another story."
