Chapter 1157
Valerie sipped her coffee while waiting for everyone to cdown for breakfast.
The family had decided to spend a few days in Coravela.
At last, Valerie had traveled through various places where she left a little bit of her
grandfather behind. She had made a long list of locations, and Marcus, her loyal
adventure companion, along with their kids, had gone with her.
Sometimes even Serenity, Alden, and Isabelle had joined them.
She was lost in memories—it had been 25 years since a seemingly ordinary day
turned into a journey that lasted for years. So many years had gone by since her
life changed in an instant.
She had to admit, her life hadn't been bad. Sure, it had its ups and downs, and
she had suffered losses. The biggest one was Peter, and there was no denying
that.
Peter would always be the man she thought she'd spend her life with. Even
though everything seemed to be going well, they never ended up together. And
even if he hadn't died physically, for her, in her life, he died the day he died. That
was that, and she would always carry his memory with her.
"Mommy!" said John, hugging her and snapping her out of her daydream.
"What is it, my love?" said Valerie, sweetly hugging her son.
"I love you!" John said, looking her in the eyes.
"| love you too. In fact, | don't just love you—I adore you, my darling. You always
have to remember that, okay, sweetheart?" Valerie said in a calm voice.

"I love all of you!" Marcus said as he walked into the kitchen.
"Marcus, my love!" Valerie said, smiling at him.
"Why didn't you wakeup?"
"You looked a little tired, and today's going to be a long day—and a special one."
"Why special, Mommy?" John asked curiously.
"Because today we're going to finish this story, a story that's taken 25 years of my
life..." said Valerie, looking at the container with her grandfather's ashes.
"Is today the day?" Marcus asked, interested.
"Yes, today is a good day..."
"Alright then, I'll ask them to get the cars ready so we can head to Solaria..."
"Thanks, love," said Valerie, feeling her husband's strong arms wrap around her.
"You don't need to thank me, my life. You are my life, and I'll always be here for
you and our kids. Speaking of, where are Serenity, Alden, Ethan, and Isabelle?"
"Oh! They got up early and went for a walk before the sun gets too high—it's too
much for Isa otherwise."
"Ah, got it. Well, once we finish breakfast, we'll head out to Solaria. I'm going to
check on my precious twins... I'm sure they're already up."
"Want scoffee?"
"Yes, please... John, sweetheart, cwith me. Let's go get the twins—I can't do
it alone, you know how they tackle me."
Valerie watched her husband and
son leave the kitchen. She kept
sipping her coffee and hurried to
prepare breakfast with the help of
the house staff. Even after all these
years living like this, she still hadn't
gotten used to having help around
the house.
Valerie's life was relatively peaceful and calm, except for soccasional stress
from work and surprise orders.
Opening her jewelry stores had been
a big success. She stihadite Magic
