Chapter 32 Chapter 32 After leaving Cloudridge Valley, Sebastian was feeling a bit frustrated.

He had been giving Stephanie money all these years, but he didn't expect her taking care of herself like this. Elliot arrived after a phone call, and picked up Stephanie to Whispering Bay, Stephanie couldn't hide her shock when she saw the mansion. “Is this yours?" she asked Sebastian, eyes wide.

Sebastian casually replied, "It's yours." The mansion, sprawling and luxurious, was in Stephanie's name. She froze, her brow furrowed in confusion. "Mine? "Yes. You said you liked it a while back," Sebastian said calmly, Stephanie was taken aback. She had no memory of mentioning liking this place, but she did recognize it. Chris had once tried to find out who owned it, and despite Kevin's efforts, no one had been able to uncover the truth.

"So, we're living here now?" she asked, still processing.

"That's right. I've got sbusiness in Long Harbor, so we're staying here for a while, Sebastian answered, not missing a beat.

Stephanie didn't push. She knew how Sebastian worked-he didn't offer details unless he had to.

With Sebastian and Elliot's help, she eventually settled down at Whispering Bay, "This was actually a coming-of-age gift from Mr. Giovanni," Elliot casually remarked when leading her to her room.

"Though it wasn't given on your 18th birthday, it's not too late now." The mention of a “coming-of-age gift” made Stephanie's eyes sting with tears.

She remembered that Sebastian had once promised to give her a special gift for her coming-of-age, something she'd truly wanted.

Before her father's accident, everything had been prepared, with Sebastian himself designing the gift.

Such a pity, she thought, a quiet sigh escaping her heart.

"Yeah," she replied softly, trying to hold back the bittersweet emotions. "It's never too late." She knew the Casalini family had been thoroughly suppressed by Sebastian, and now he stood at the pinnacle of Fiorenza.

No one could harm Sebastian or threaten her anymore.

"Take a good rest, Miss. The kitchen is preparing breakfast, and Mr. Giovanni will join you once his video conference is over," added Elliot.

Stephanie nodded. "Alright." Her room faced the sea. As she entered, she saw the breathtaking sunrise slowly rising from the horizon, the moment when the sun broke free from the sea, casting a stunning beauty that left her in awe.

She remembered now-she had once said she liked this place.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Olivia had been suffering through the night.

Catlin, unable to hold back her tears, stood by her side, heartbroken at the sight of her suffering.

Tyler had stayed by her side as well, his frustration evident. He had made two desperate phone calls last night, hoping for skind of miracle.

However, even the strongest painkillers seemed ineffective. Nothing could ease Olivia's torment.

It was at this point that Chris returned.

Catlin rushed to him, her voice trembling with urgency. "Chris, what happened? Did Stephanie agree to call Dr. Pierce?" Chris didn't speak up, but shot a bitter glance at Olivia.

With that one look, they all understood-he had returned with bad news. Stephanie hadn't relented.

Catlin's composure cracked, her voice rising in frustration. "How could she be so heartless? This is a matter of life and death!" Olivia's face contorted in pain. She glanced at Chris for a fleeting moment before she turned away, quietly wiping away a tear.

Chris' disdain for Stephanie deepened as he watched this scene unfold. His jaw clenched, and his grip on his emotions tightened.

Catlin, desperate for any chance to reach Olivia, immediately dialed Stephanie's number, but only a cold, robotic voice responded. The call had been blocked.

"How dare she..."

Fuming with anger, she snatched a nurse's phone and dialed once more.

This time, the call went through Without waiting for Stephanie to speak, she fired off.

"Stephanie! What is wrong with you?" she barked. "I've tolerated your m behavior before, but this is too much! How can you act like this when Olivia's life is on the line?" From the other end of the line, Stephanie's voice cthrough, icy and dismissive.

"Mrs. Hart, is this a lecture from you? Seems like you've lost the right to tellwhat to do." Catlin's hand shook as she held the phone, her chest tight with fury.

She couldn't endure such disrespect, especially when it was from her own child.

Through gritted teeth, Catlin forced herself to speak. "No matter what you call me, Kim still your Il kmestill mother-your real mother. That's something no one can change. But Stephanie's voice cthrough with a mocking laugh.

"Real mother, huh?" she teased. "Then your idea of motherhood is truly a sight to behold." 2/3 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLliIofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1
